Burcin Kaplanoglu is a globally recognized technology executive, AI expert, and thought leader in construction innovation. He is the founder and Chief Technologies Officer of SBK Technologies, which provides custom technology advisory services to private equity, construction, and industrial companies. He was the Vice President and co-founder of Oracle Industry Lab. He pioneered the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital twin technologies into real-world construction solutions. Burcin’s work has transformed how the built environment adopts emerging technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in construction management from Istanbul University and a PhD in engineering and management from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He worked in the construction industry and as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University before joining Oracle.
