Colin A. Lawrence is Global Advisor for Tunnels at Hatch, where he guides international strategy, innovation, and project delivery in one of the world’s most technically demanding sectors. With more than 40 years of experience in tunnel design engineering and construction, Colin is a respected leader in tunnels in many market sectors including transportation, transit, water, power, and mining. He is also very active within the tunnel industry over the past few decades having engaged in the Underground Construction Association executive and currently serves as vice chair for the association. Based in New York, Colin also contributes to global thought leadership, including authorship in The History of Tunneling in the United States. He is widely admired for his mentorship, and visionary leadership in advancing underground infrastructure through engagement in some of the world’s most challenging and noteworthy tunnel projects.
