Kim V. Vierheilig is President of the national Buildings operating group at STV, where she leads architecture, engineering, planning, and design services across a diverse range of sectors—including justice, education, healthcare, transportation, science, federal programs, and urban development. A licensed architect with more than 25 years of experience, Kim is known for her strategic vision and transformative leadership in advancing social infrastructure across the country. Her portfolio includes award-winning projects such as Newark Terminal A, the NYC Borough-Based Jails Program, and a wide array of educational and hospitality developments. Her work has earned national recognition for design excellence and innovation. Kim is also a passionate advocate for women in architecture and engineering. She serves on the boards of the Society of American Military Engineers (NYC Post), the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, and her alma mater, the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where she also contributes to the Hillier College of Architecture and Design advisory board. A respected speaker and mentor, Kim holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Science in Management from NJIT. Throughout her career, she has been celebrated for building inclusive, high-performing teams that deliver resilient, community-centered design.
