Spellmon

Scott Spellmon is Senior Account Executive at SOSi, where he leads strategy and business development in the defense and national security sectors. He joined the firm in 2025 after retiring from the U.S. Army as the 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), where he directed global civil and military infrastructure programs to advance disaster resilience, economic growth, and national security. A combat veteran of Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, Scott’s 38-year military career included leadership roles across the U.S. and Europe. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, he holds master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and in national security strategy from the U.S. Army War College. His military awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and the Combat Action Badge.
