Wei Wang is the founder and CEO of UrbanTech, with more than 30 years of experience in structural and construction engineering. He specializes in complex and movable bridges, large-scale infrastructure projects, and transit systems. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in multiple states, Dr. Wang is nationally recognized for his expertise in Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC), innovative project delivery methods, and successful management of technically challenging projects. Dr. Wang earned his undergraduate degree from Tongji University and his Ph.D. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he has served on the Board of Visitors and Industry Advisory Board. Deeply committed to civil engineering education, he actively mentors students, engages with academic communities, and advocates for the advancement of the discipline in higher education. Through UrbanTech, Dr. Wang integrates technical excellence with visionary leadership, championing the use of emerging technologies to enhance construction practices.
