James Starace
Jim Starace is the Chief of Program Delivery for the Gateway Development Commission. This program is building nine miles of new passenger rail track between New York and New Jersey, including nearly five miles of tunnel boring to construct a new two tube tunnel under the Hudson River. Also included in the program is the rehabilitation of the existing North River Tunnels.
Jim is the retired chief engineer and the director of engineering for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
Jim holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York Maritime College and a Master of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology.
