Peter Emmons
Peter Emmons is the founder and CEO of Structural Group, Inc., a thriving family of companies that provide engineering support, cutting-edge products and construction services focused on making structures stronger and last longer, founded in 1976. Since its inception, Structural Group has grown under Peter’s leadership with over $1 billion in annual revenue, over 4,500 employees, and 45 offices worldwide. The company ranks at the top of Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) Specialty Contractor list and has completed high-profile projects, including post-Hurricane Sandy repairs at the World Trade Center, rehabilitation of the Brooklyn Bridge towers, stabilization of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, and the Guggenheim Museum.
Peter has been very involved in many industry organizations. He is the co-founder and past president of the International Concrete Repair Institute, a past board member of the American Concrete Institute, past chairman of ACI Strategic Development Council, and the founder and executive board member of P+Ex Preservation and Service Life Extension, Center of Excellence.
Peter earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. He authored the best-selling book “Concrete Repair and Maintenance, Illustrated”.
He has three children and four grandchildren.
