Rudolph Frizzi
Rudolph Frizzi serves as a Managing Principal at LANGAN Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC, where he brings nearly forty years of extensive geotechnical engineering and project management experience. At LANGAN, Rudy is responsible for review and interaction with geotechnical, civil, and environmental engineering project personnel across LANGAN’s 40+ offices and more than 2,000 staff members. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in twenty states, a licensed Geotechnical Engineer in California, and a Board-Certified Geotechnical Engineer by the Academy of Geo-Professionals. Rudy has provided expert geotechnical consultation and trial testimony on over 150 excavation and foundation litigation cases throughout the United States and internationally, and has also prepared and presented over 80 technical presentations at universities, conferences, and seminars throughout the United States and internationally on a variety of issues including: geotechnical engineering, land development engineering, foundation design and construction, and design and construction dispute review and resolution.
Rudy received his B.S.C.E. from The Ohio State University and his M.S.C.E. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Career Achievement from The Ohio State University College of Engineering in 2022 and the Distinguished Service Award from the Deep Foundations Institute in 2024. He is a past President and Trustee of the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), and past Chair of the Deep Foundations Institute’s charitable Educational Trust.
He remains an active member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI), American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), The Moles, and the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trail and Insurance Practice Section. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Department of Civil Engineering at The Ohio State University.
He is married to Susan and they have three daughters.
