Membership Criteria
Election to the National Academy of Construction is a high professional honor for engineers and constructors and is to be conferred with care on those few, most qualified.
Has made significant contributions to the effectiveness of the engineering and construction industry over a period of several years.
Is recognized as an industry leader by his or her peers. Significant contributions may be in the areas such as technology, work process, safety, working relationships, tools, communications, education, and cost/schedule effectiveness.
Contributions representing step improvements in one or more of these areas together with leadership in their implementation is highly desirable. Equally the candidate should have demonstrated high personal integrity and a concern for the health of the entire industry through sharing and communication.
